ABARTA’s North Star Team recently visited our friends at Viking Coca Cola in St. Cloud, Minnesota to discuss their implementation of EoStar and Microsoft Dynamics GP. We will soon be starting our own implementation of these software packages in early 2015 as part of our business transformation. Viking’s implementation was almost 2 years ago, so we wanted to understand how they were currently utilizing it and how we can best prepare. Topics discussed included steps taken prior to project kick off, routing, dispatch, production, sales analysis and reporting, financial reporting, procedures, warehouse management, use of software. The discussion was very informative and will help guide us as we develop our approach.
